Melin Tregwynt is a small family owned textile mill, employing around 28 people and located in a remote wooded valley on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast of Wales. Since the 18th century local farmers would bring their fleeces to this low whitewashed mill to be spun into yarn and woven into fine wool blankets for their families. Its current owners, the Griffiths family, have lived here and worked the mill since 1912.Today traditional Welsh weaves are transformed with beautiful colour and innovative design. Simple in spirit, satisfying in quality and timeless in design our woollens can be found in hip hotels and design-led stores worldwide, and on television and film. We supply top stores like Heals, Libertys and John Lewis but you can also buy from our mill shop or order direct from our catalogue and our website. We like to make things that are useful and beautiful to look at. We stock simple stylish clothing, accessories and bags, blankets, throws and cushions – all made in our own unique fabrics, together with other carefully chosen Welsh gifts, clothes and accessories. Why not come and see for yourselves.
