Blakemere Touring Park

(5.0 based on 33 reviews)

Blakemere Village is proud to announce the launch of their new touring park. Set in the heart of Cheshire and based on the already long established visitor attraction site, it hosts 52 large and medium size caravan pitches, a camping area, large amenities block, reception with shop as well as a chill-out and games room, making it the perfect get away for those looking to pitch up and relax. The site also offers electric and water hook-up, grey waste disposal and TV aerial connection and with WIFI hotspots across Blakemere Village, those needing to stay connected will be right at home.

The new park is based on a great tourist attraction that was created over 20 years ago and is still, to this day, owned and run by the Gerrard family. The Edwardian stable block is the heart of the centre and since 1878 has changed and developed, to now offer beautiful boutique style shops selling everything from freshly baked cakes and homeware to jewellery, clothes and sweets. There are daily activities at Blakemere catering for all ages, tastes and budgets. Bird of Prey aviaries, a huge play barn, archery, air rifles, low ropes and segway experiences along with paint-a-pot studio, mini race track, bushcraft in the woods and crazy golf all add to a fun experience while you stay at Blakemere. Regular events throughout the year including a fantastic christmas schedule, when Santa comes to visit, all mean that you and your family will never be stuck for something to do.

Blakemere Village and its touring park are open 7 days a week, all year round.

This was our first visit to Blakemere and won't be our last; it also coincided with our first trip out with our new Burghaus Air 6 XL inflatable tent. The site is excellent. The wardens are efficient, charming and extremely helpful; as such the arrival process was very quick (you also receive a site info pack which is very good). Noise is limited to 10pm and on the whole this was respected by all those present (there is a slight issue with the local Hunt whose pack are kennelled nearby and like to make their voices heard in the early hours. But as the Hunt was in situ before the camp site it's one of those neighbour things that you lust have to live with). More than happy to recommend Blakemere and we will definitely visit again next year.

What a lovely site! We received a lovely welcome from all the reception staff who were very friendly throughout our stay. Our pitch was on the rally field, just a short walk from the toilets, pitches were a good size and loads of room for cars straight opposite your pitch. The toilets and showers were always spotless with Smooth radio playing, showers cubicles great with plenty hooks and an area to get dried. There are couple of electric sockets for hairdryers etc.

Already had a couple of visits here, love this site! Facilities are nothing short of immaculate, and well heated! Site is clean and very tidy even in winter! Booked again to go next weekend! Site is located right next to Blakemere Village so plenty to wonder around. Not sure if we'll use the site in peak season as approaching on £30 per night is a bit steep for us, but will definitely be using again next winter!

We had 10 nights there and wish we could have had longer. The shower block was outstanding, one of the best we have seen in a very long time. The staff wer very friendly and helpful. Thank you, and we will be back in the future.
