Blakemere Touring Park

(5.0 based on 27 reviews)

Blakemere Village is proud to announce the launch of their new touring park. Set in the heart of Cheshire and based on the already long established visitor attraction site, it hosts 52 large and medium size caravan pitches, a camping area, large amenities block, reception with shop as well as a chill-out and games room, making it the perfect get away for those looking to pitch up and relax. The site also offers electric and water hook-up, grey waste disposal and TV aerial connection and with WIFI hotspots across Blakemere Village, those needing to stay connected will be right at home.

The new park is based on a great tourist attraction that was created over 20 years ago and is still, to this day, owned and run by the Gerrard family. The Edwardian stable block is the heart of the centre and since 1878 has changed and developed, to now offer beautiful boutique style shops selling everything from freshly baked cakes and homeware to jewellery, clothes and sweets. There are daily activities at Blakemere catering for all ages, tastes and budgets. Bird of Prey aviaries, a huge play barn, archery, air rifles, low ropes and segway experiences along with paint-a-pot studio, mini race track, bushcraft in the woods and crazy golf all add to a fun experience while you stay at Blakemere. Regular events throughout the year including a fantastic christmas schedule, when Santa comes to visit, all mean that you and your family will never be stuck for something to do.

Blakemere Village and its touring park are open 7 days a week, all year round.

First time staying at Blakemere Touring Park and we have really loved it. Very helpful and welcoming on our arrival and came with us to the pitch to make sure that everything was OK. The washroom facilities are excellent - clean, modern, well looked after and with the added touch of radio playing in the background. Pitch facilities are great, grey waste drain in just the right place, EHU, water and even TV point for Freeview, which came in really hand when the trees were interfering with the signal to our aerial. Blakemere Village is a short walk and is delightful, lovely craft shops, tea rooms and the pub/restaurant, just a shame the restaurant is not open in the evenings. Overall we had a lovely stay and are already booking for our next visit.

Great site - unfortunately we arrived late and even though it was after 8:30pm the staff shown us to our pitch and gave us a takeaway menu just incase we wanted to eat and didn't want to cook ? staff were lovely and so happy to help. lovely modern facilities, great having some tunes playing while in the toilet/shower block which was always spotless and warm - The den was a nice touch with a pool table, tv, sofa and outside table tennis - every building we went in was lovely and warm which was such a bonus as it was a cold and windy weekend - The village is great with lots of shops - we did the crazy golf and the fair - the village restaurant was lovely it's just a shame it's not open in the evenings - it would of been nice to have a wander up .

Just returned home after staying here for the first time this weekend. Arrived Friday and were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. Fish and Chip van was on site so no need for any cooking - very yummy. Toilets and showers were very clean and well equipped (Just a shame some people don't always leave things as they would like to find them); shower cubicle had a plastic chair for use to pop your dry clothes on. A squeezy mop for you use after to keep water from spreading everywhere. Mop and bucket for you too (so you can leave it as you would like to find it!) Site kept very clean. Lovely place to wander round and the village restaurant served lovely, very reasonably priced and varied menu choices. Sandiway Ales is definately worth a visit. Pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Whole place is very dog friendly with bowls of water outside most outlets. Would definitely recommend and will visit again
