My lovely visit to Cartref Caravan and Camping Site

We have recently returned from a lovely weekend at Cartref Caravan and Camping Site. On our arrival we were greeted by Wendy who gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We were delighted to find out that you can pre-book delicious breakfast baps for the following morning which can be delivered to your pitch or eaten in the lovely little onsite bar/lounge area.

We were camping but Cartref offer touring as well as having an adult only touring pitch. We set up our tent in our lovely secluded pitch and heading out to visit the local attractions.

Shrewsbury itself is a wonderful town to visit with lovely Tudor style buildings. We also enjoyed a visit to Attingham Park, a great National Trust site. After a delicious dinner at a pub we returned to Cartref just in time to enjoy a delicious drink in the on-site rustic bar (which my husband loved!) while the children enjoyed playing on the park.

We woke up to our breakfast baps, a lovely cup of tea and then got ready for another great day. The award winning facilities were immaculate for the entire duration of our stay which was fantastic so we all thoroughly enjoyed our morning showers!

We had a brilliant weekend at Cartref Caravan and Camping site and couldn’t recommend the site enough. If you’re looking for a quiet, immaculate site with a warm welcome on arrival then look no further ?
